2016 New JET Training
Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, 2016
Seattle University, Pigott Building Rooms 200 & 205
Each year, new JETs departing from Seattle gather a month before to prepare for their new roles as JET Program Participants. The “Jet Experience” is best relayed by those who have personally participated in the program, and PNWJETAA is excited to help prepare the this year’s departing JETs for their new lives in Japan. Information regarding their day-to-day life, an introduction to Japanese culture, and other topics are discussed in order to help their transition to life in Japan go smoothly. Even those who have been to Japan benefit from the training provided by PNWJETAA as the JET Program is an unique experience. We look forward to coordinating this training endeavor with the Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle.
