Walk for Rice @ Seward Park, Sat. 6/24 !

Everyone is welcome to join PNW JETAA’s Walk for Rice Team as they help fight against hunger one step at a time!

The ACRS Food Bank is the one of the most visited food banks in King County, and the only one in the state that regularly provides foods that are familiar to the Asian and Pacific Islander (AAPI) diet by providing rice, tofu, noodles, fish and fresh produce.
We also hope that some of the new 2017 JETs will join us as well, so it would be great to have a lot of JETAA members to walk & talk with the New JETs in order to answer questions that they may have before they depart in July!

So please support our PNW JET Alumni Association Team as either a runner, walker or team supporter & help us surpass our goal of raising $1,500 & recruiting at least 15 team members!

Please invite your friends and family to join the fun as well (this also includes well behaved pets) – the more the merrier! If this will be your first time participating, please check out the event FAQs page, which should answer most of your questions!

The overture plays, trumpets blaring with gusto and the curtain rises on the roof of a Junior High School in Merry Japan during sunrise. A lone ALT strides upon the roof.

From far Japan I hear your call!
And unto you I’ll give my all!
