Vancouver is coming!
That’s right! We’ve been trying to get a group outing together for a while and it’s finally happening! Fellow JET Alumni from the JETAABC Chapter are coming down the first weekend of October for fun, fun, fun!
They’ll be coming down on Saturday, October 2nd for the Mariners vs. Oakland Game. Hopefully we’ll get a big group together to cheer on the Mariners! And of course, there will be a nijikai, possibly involving karaoke, after the game (which we hope we win!).
When: Saturday, October 2nd – game starts at 7:10pm, please be at Safeco by 6:30pm
Where: Safeco Field! (We’ll meet by the Home Plate entrance)
Cost: $25 per person? We’re currently not sure of the cost; we’re trying to reach that magical group number so that our tickets can cost less. If you RSVP, we’ll buy the ticket (which means you’ll have to pay regard regardless of whether you can attend or not) and then send a group email to those on the RSVP list of the final cost. Please bring the exact amount to the game! NO SERIOUSLY. Exact change! We will not be carrying twenty $1 bills with us. 😉
Deadline: Please RSVP by Monday, Sept. 27th. We will be buying out group tickets next Tuesday.
We are also looking for people would be able to host our visitors for a night. If you have a bed or couch to spare on October 2nd, please send an email to social@pnwjetaa.org! Here’s a chance to interact with new JET alums! (You know, instead of us. =))
