Would you like to contribute to the fundraising efforts to support Japan, but not interested in attending another silent auction or traditional Japanese music performance? Perhaps you may find “Lights on Japan!” to be more to your liking. Presented by DJ Selecta Matsui and Kickit4aCause, “Lights On Japan!” is an all ages (21+ in the bar) Music Festival to take place at Nectar Lounge on June 12th. The show starts at 5:00pm and goes on to the wee hours of the morning offering all attendees a chance to kick it in style. $10 donation at the door.
According to the organizers:
In light of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, local DJ Selecta Matsui, community artists and organizers are coming together to share their artistic gifts and entrepreneurial skills to fund raise for the Akimoto Bread Factory, making canned bread for survivors that lasts 3 years! Labels will be at the door for you to send a personalized message to the People.
“This is for my families and friends in Utsunomiya City in Tochigi, Japan – Please come to support, we have an Amazing show for you all and it’s All Ages!” – Selecta Matsui
