It’s time to dig out your yukata, happi or jinbei and get ready for dancing at the Bon Odori!
This year the Bon Odori will be on Saturday, July 16th from 4:00-10:00pm and Sunday, July 17th from 3:00-8:00pm. On Saturday we’ll be taking over part of the beer garden for JET alum, new JETs and anyone who wants to join.

***Look for our lovely vice president, Cheryl, with a PNWJETAA sign in the beer garden(behind the main temple building). We will probably be in the beer garden for an hour or so and then head out to the main dancing area.

There will also be some dance practice sessions at Betsuin if you are interested in learning the moves beforehand. The lessons will be from 7:30-9:00pm on July 6,7,8,11,and 12. Betsuin put up some videos of past dances on youtube. Be sure to check them out here!
