In two weeks’ time, Sakura Matsuri will be in full form in the Fisher Pavilion at the Seattle Center. If you haven’t been before, we highly recommend you set aside some time and see for yourself the beauty that is Sakura Matsuri. It is one of the biggest Japan-related cultural festivals in Seattle. There are many reasons to come – see live demonstrations/performances, learn about Japanese related volunteer opportunities and organizations, test your hands out at different cultural activities, and taste some delicious food.
But there’s another good reason to come – to volunteer at the PNWJETAA booth! This event is time and again great. It provides a chance for passersby to see, inquire and learn about the JET Program. And what better way to hear about the program than straight from past participants?? If you are free, please consider volunteering at the PNWJETAA booth and sharing your experiences. Below is info on the event and volunteer time slots:
- April 13: 10-12:30, 12:30-3, 3-5* (Opening Ceremony @ 4pm)
- April 14: 10-12:30, 12:30-3, 3-6
- April 15: 10-12:30, 12:30-3, 3-6

Could you tell me what your email address is, or send me a quick email at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can confirm details with you? Many thanks! – Brett
