Our annual meeting, party, and networking event is all set for Saturday, February 2! JETs, friends of JETs, families and well-wishers are all welcome! (Tickets from BPT)
We’re very happy to be returning to the charming Nagomi Tea House this year for our Shinnenkai. We’ll be holding our annual elections for the JETAA steering council, and possibly appointing some new committee members, so if you want to get involved with Japan-related events, have your own suggestions, or just want to see what’s going on, this is a great chance.
After the business is included, we’ll be celebrating the start of another new year! There will be food, mixing, and maybe a little bit of entertainment. Families are welcome, and it’s a good chance to meet or network with community members.
Finally, after we close the doors at the lovely Nagomi Tea House, all attendees over the age of 21 are welcome to join us as we head to Venus Karaoke for drinks and revelry! We’ll be getting a banquet permit, so that means BYOB (or other drinks)!
This is one of our most important events of the year, and we want to get things started right. We hope to see you there! Plus, buy tickets now and save five dollars.
