Ready to fall into Aki Matsuri (bad buns win again! I’ve been waiting two years to use this line just one more time!)
The Eastside Nihon Matsuri Association will be holding its 18th annual Aki Matsuri, presented by the Eastside Nihon Association, on the weekend of September 12-13! There’s always taiko performances, art displays, lots of vendors, and children’s activities galore.
PNWJETAA has its own booth table, located adjacent to the Consulate General of Seattle, and we need volunteers! We need genki and awesome alumni members who want to speak about their experiences on JET and in Japan! Aki Matsuri is the prime time to getting the word out to future college graduations about the opportunity one Delta (and very long interview year) away!
There are a total of two shifts per day:
Saturday (September 12th):
- 10:00AM - 2:00PM (4 Hours) – FILLED
- 2:00PM - 6:00PM (4 Hours) – FILLED
- 10:00AM - 2:00PM (4 Hours) – FILLED
- 2:00PM - 5:00PM (2 Hours) – FILLED
We will be needing two volunteers per shift (our booth is small!) Please help us make the PNWJETAA Booth so awesome, winter will stop in its track and decide not to come. If you haven’t been to Aki Matsuri yet, please check out their website for event information and essential details.
