IMPORTANT
You must confirm your attendance ASAP. Please do so by August 14, Thursday. Do that here. We need to know the names & positions of your delegates, contact e-mails & phone numbers, and flight info if you have it.
Once you’ve confirmed attendance, please send this info to our secretary: A short blurb for your chapter, photo(s) of your delegate(s), and a high-res chapter logo.
Finally, we are calling on interested chapters to make presentations. Please email your ideas and presentation to Cheryl at nat-con@pnwjetaa.org.
National Conference
For the time first time, National Conference will be two days, along with an optional half day on Thursday, September 18th. The optional third night will come out of each attending chapter’s existing GiA. Each chapter will be allowed to draw upon their current GiA budgets for the optional third night; this will be a total of $180.16 per attending chapter for the optional third night. While the conference will officially begin at 2PM on Friday, CLAIR will be hosting a luncheon on Friday for all chapters who will be able to make this optional half day, and will be involved with several sessions that will be closely tied with CLAIR.
- Name(s) of Delegates (2 Per Chapter)
- Positions of each Delegate
- Contact Emails
- Phone # (for emergencies)
- Flight Information (when applicable)
Please make sure to complete this information by Thursday, August 14th. If you need to switch out attendees information we can do that later but we do need to get names to the hotel by the 15th as well.
Please fill out our form here.
For the second part, we will need each attending chapter to send the following information to our Secretary, Daniel Martin at secretary@pnwjetaa.org:
- Chapter Bios – a short biography of each chapter (this is different than the personal bio that goes in the above form)
- Photo of your delegates
- Chapter Logos (High-Resolution)
And last (but not least!), we are doing a call-out for presentations from other chapters. While the Conference will be shortened and condensed this year, Chapter Presentations have always been a vital part of National Conference. If your chapter has a presentation or a speaker, or any National Conference specific questions, please email your ideas and presentation to Cheryl at nat-con@pnwjetaa.org.
One last note, please make sure that your attendees fly into SeaTac airport in Tacoma, Seattle. We will send out another e-mail with transportation from the airport information soon.
Arrival Information
Please plan to arrive at the Sea-Tac Airport (SEA).
The hotel is the Best Western Plus Executive Inn, at 200 Taylor Ave N., Seattle 98109. It’s just a block east from the Space Needle.
There are many options for getting to Seattle from the Airport, including shuttles and taxis, but the Light-Link Rail is particularly convenient for us. A ride costs $2.75, and they leave every 10-15 minutes.
If you disembark the light-link rail at the University Street Station, it’s still about a mile to the hotel. However, you’ll have several bus routes you can take to get closer.
