Please join us for the return of IRON CHEF!! PNWJETAA will be guest-hosting 2024 with JETAA Portland, and will feature the ingredient, traditional soybean miso and garbanzo miso from local Seattle-based company, Yoka Miso! You can either register for this event as a guest (and bring a dish to share for the potluck) or as a chef participant in making a dish with Yoka Miso!
If you’d like to participate, please check the CHEF option below, and make sure to provide contact information for us to give you a pouch of Yoka Miso to use! Please read details below for all the info you’ll need!
As a C H E F:
- PNWJETAA will provide up to $30 reimbursement per entry dish for ingredients and supplies
- PNWJETAA will have cooking supplies (pots, pans, cups, bowls, utensils) on site for free use (if your dish will require a special pan or something outside of a standard commercial kitchen, please bring to the event)
- The event is from 11AM to 2:00PM; those cooking should arrive at 11am and will have 1.5 hours to complete their dish! It’s definitely okay to bring pre-finished elements!
- Dishes will be tasted and guests at the event will anonymously write in their favorite dish for the winner!
