Help PNWJETAA fight hunger in our community by helping to raise funds for local food banks that provide culturally appropriate foods to those in need. This is one of the longest running and biggest community outreach programs that PNWJETAA supports! We are also inviting new 2024 JETs to join us, so please come out to meet them! This event is open to all PNWJETAA members as well as friends & family! Hope to see you on June 29th!

Date: Saturday, June 29th
Location: Seward Park, 5806 Lake Washington Blvd, Seattle, WA 98108
We will gather at a new location: the torii gate at the entrance of the park! As you enter the park it will be in the grassy field off to your left.
Schedule:
8:30 am – Registration booth opens – for those who have swag to collect for gathering donations or if folks wish to register onsite.
9:15 am – Seattle Kokon Taiko performs followed by program – speeches, warm-up exercises, and performances. We encourage everyone to arrive by this time. Note that parking is really crowded, so public transportation is recommended or visit the Walk for Rice homepage for more suggestions.
9:45 am – Team PNWJETAA photo – we’ll have our banner so look for our logo or our Team Captain Yuki
10:30 am – Walk begins
12:00 pm – Walk ends and we’ll go for pizza at Tutta Bella nearby
